Chanderi silk originates from the city of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. Contrary to popular belief, it does not come from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, and the one that does originate from there is not original chanderi. It is a silk-cotton fabric, where different block prints or embroideries are carried out to give it a rich and festive look.

Wash Instructions: Dry clean is highly recommended.
